Under the AFCAT 1 Notification 2024, a total of 317 vacancies have been released for the Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches.
According to the AFCAT eligibility criteria, candidates must have a minimum of 60% marks at the Graduation level, along with Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects at the 10+2 level. Additionally, a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate is required at the PG level.
The AFCAT selection process is conducted in four distinct stages: Written Test, which is conducted online. AFSB (Air Force Selection Board) Interview. Medical Examination. Final Selection based on the cumulative performance in the above stages.
For the AFCAT exam, candidates need to study a range of subjects including History, Geography, Civics, Politics, Current Affairs, Environment, Basic Science, Defence, Art, Culture, and Sports. Additionally, General Knowledge preparation should encompass India and its neighbouring countries.
